Sammie (Connie Wang, “Second Jen”), an aspiring Asian actress, tired of stereotypical roles, joins On Call Casting run by the inimitable Betty (Shelley Thompson, "Trailer Park Boys") and gets an assignment with unusual challenges. Along the way she meets DeMar (Ryan Allen, “21 Thunder”) who has to rethink his dream as a stunt coordinator-turn-actor and some harried production staff, trying to make it work.

Created by Winnifred Jong and produced by Trinni Franke, TOKENS is a tongue-in-cheek comedy about the actors who find themselves randomly sent to productions desperate to hit their diversity quotas. Think Uber for actors.

Season 2 finds our friends in a different situation - Inclusion riders are over and CSL's are in! It's all about sensitivity and equity - and a big new Hollywood Asian block -buster the studio will produce at any cost!
